At the bike center, you choose the right size of Cube electric mountain bike, helmet, and get a bottle of water.
After a short safety introduction of how to use an e-bike, we jump on our powerful bikes and ride through low-traffic roads to the Cretan countryside.
The route is comprised primarily of farmers’ roads and quiet tarmac roads, ensuring you’ll feel safe and secure throughout. During the tour, your local guide will explain the cultivation of the olives, the use of the plants, the traditional life, the ethics, and the nature of Crete.
The tour is focused on exploring Crete and having fun. The riding pace is slow to moderate with lots of stops for rest, photos, learning about Crete, admiring the view, and visiting all the highlights of the area. All the uphills are performed on rural smooth dirt roads.
The downhills are performed on asphalt roads. There are short cemented uphill sections of 50-100 meters with grades up to 20%.
