Only local guides, driving 7 seater 4wd, full A/C, vehicles , will allow you to explore on really comfortable conditions a part from the mainland of Crete which compatible vehicles, buses or mini buses, can’t offer. So it is not just a tour for tastings, driving you from one to another winery, but it is an adventurous Semi Private exploring tour, with lunch time and not just snacks and beverages. You will visit the 3000-5000 years old olive tree and a few minutes later will be at Anoskeli’s olive mill and winery for your tastings. Driving on rough roads will be at Milia Mountain Retreat,for your lunch time. Heading back to Chania you will have the chance to see the Topolia gorge. At each stop, your privacy is always in priority for us.

During the guided safari tour you will learn about life in Cretan villages, olives pick, olive oil production, Cretan wine, honey production, distillation of “Raki” – “Tsikoudia”, and Cretan cuisine, culture, history and tradition.

Ano Vouves:

Admire, touch it and take plenty of photos of the unique 3000-5000 years old olive tree which is still productive! We guide you at a traditional stone olive mill and will see a small typical farm in Crete. Time for a cup of coffee/mountain teα or a fresh orange juice, enjoying your time to the countryside.

At Anoskeli’s Olive mill and winery the Sommeliers and Wine-Olive Oil producers, as more professional in their sector, will inform you about the wine and olive oil when they serve you.Taste the organic extra virgin olive oil, spread on warm bread with oregano, salt and lemon juice. Continue with a winery experience by trying 5 different labels of local wine, accompanied by Cretan snacks. Keep your privacy and have an enjoyable time, tasting local products.

Milia:

After having an adventurous off road Jeep Safari experience we arrive at Milia Mountain Retreat. Time stops here: there is no electricity, cozy stone houses brings us close to the philosophy “back to the basics”. The place is an authentic 17th century mountain settlement which has been transformed into an eco-friendly tourist complex, one of the top 50 worldwide choices of National Geographic magazine, concerning eco-tourism and agro-tourism. We will spend our lunch time here and you will enjoy Cretan cuisine and local wine,beer or homemade soft drinks.

Topolia Gorge:

The wild scenery of Topolia gorge is worth seeing. Is a unique example of wild Cretan nature.Admire and take plenty of photos of wild landscape nature.You will have the opportunity to see local mountain goats and watch the vultures fly from their nests up to the sky. A really Safari time!
